Why do you not provide packages?
Packages make life complicated and why should you have to choose a compromise "Silver" package when you know you would really love the "Platinum" package but just can't afford it. We only provide one level of service: our very best, so you know there is no compromise at any point.
Are your prices negotiable?
No, they're not. Our prices are designed to be very reasonable and we're confident that they offer outstanding value for money. But please remember that while the price may not be negotiable, the service we can offer you certainly is; if you want a special combination of people in a picture or a specific location for some shots, just let us know and we'll do all we can!
Can we cancel once booked?
You can cancel but we can only offer a 90% refund if you cancel within seven days of making the booking. Otherwise refunds are not available unless the wedding has to be cancelled on compassionate grounds or either the bride or groom are in the armed forces and are called up at short notice.
What happens in the case of bad weather?
Don't worry! Should it be raining, snowing or blowing a gale, we will take photographs inside as long as the church or registry office agree. If that is not possible, we will either take photographs very quickly outside or find a location at the reception instead.
What happens if you are stuck in traffic or your car breaks down?
We always aim to get to your wedding very early so the chances of us being late are slim. And because there are two of us, we've got two cars to choose from so one breaks down - we grab the other! We've never been late yet and that's a record we want to maintain.
I've seen adverts for traditional and photojournalism type wedding photographers. Which do I want?
Easy - we give you both! There are times where there is no substitute for traditional formal photos, for example, the signing of the register and the family group shots. But during the reception and speeches, the more discreet photojournalist style can capture the "real" person, be it the bride, the groom, or simply one of the guests laughing at your Best Man's speech. You can be confident that we will offer you the best of both worlds!
